There has been another setback for the Malayalam film industry. Yesterday the industry’s renowned music composer MK Arjunan passed away. After which today, on the morning of April 7, the famous actor Sasi Kalinga has also died. He was 59 years old. The industry is shocked by his death. Actually, Sasi was troubled by the problem in the liver for some time. After which he died in a private hospital in Kerala this morning.
Sasi Kalinga was active in the Malayalam film industry for the last 35 years. During this time he acted in more than 250 films and also became a part of hundreds of stage shows. His entire family is broken by his death.
Sasi’s real name was Chandra Kumar but he promoted his nick name. He was an automobile engineering student. After which he joined the theater. After the theater, he turned to television and then came into films. He has done most comedy roles in his career. His journey in the film world started with the film Thakarachenda.
