How different are Poco F2 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro from each other?

Poco F2 Pro smartphone has knocked on top specifications on Tuesday with Snapdragon 865 processor and 64-megapixel primary camera. The phone seems inspired by the Redmi K30 Pro, which was launched in China earlier this year. Both phones are largely similar and there are some things that make these two phones different from each other. Both these smartphones have a 4,700 mAh battery and 30-watt fast charging support. Even both phones have a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. We have tried to know by placing the recently launched Poco F2 Pro with the Redmi K30 Pro, what is the difference between these two phones.

Poco F2 Pro vs Redmi K30 Pro: Price

The starting price of Poco F2 Pro is EUR 499 (about Rs 41,500). This price is of 6 GB + 128 GB storage variants. Its 8 GB + 256 GB storage variants will be sold for EUR 599 (about Rs 50,000). This phone has four colour variants – Cyber ​​Gray, Electric Purple, Neon Blue and Phantom White.

The price of Redmi K30 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 32,500). This price is of 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants. The 8 GB + 128 GB model of the phone will be sold for 3,399 Chinese yuan (about Rs 36,000). The premium 8 GB + 256 GB variant of the handset will be priced at CNY 3,699 (around Rs 40,000). This handset is available in Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple and Space Gray colours.

Poco F2 Pro vs Redmi K30 Pro: Specifications

Talking about the specification, both the Poco F2 Pro and Redmi 30 phones are almost the same. Dual-SIM (Nano) Poco F2 Pro runs on Android 10 based MIUI for Poco. At the same time, Redmi K30 Pro works on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. MIUI for Poco comes with its own Poco Launcher, while MIUI 11 comes with MIUI 11 Launcher. Both phones have a 6.67-inch full-HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) HDR + AMOLED display, which has an aspect ratio of 20: 9.

Both the smartphones have been given 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options with the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Internal storage is given up to 256 GB, with micro SD support also available.

Both Poco F2 Pro and Redmi K30 come with quad-camera setup for photography, in which the primary camera is 64 megapixels. Sony IMX686 sensor is used here, it has been given optical image stabilization. Other cameras of the Poco F2 Pro include a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera that offers a 123-degree field of view, a 5-megapixel telemacro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the Redmi K30 Pro has a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, both phones have a 20-megapixel pop-up camera.

Apart from all these, both phones will get 4,700 mAh battery, which will have 33-watt fast charging support. Connectivity includes dual-mode 5G (NSA SA), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphones. Both phones also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
