Palestinian Leader Mahmood Abbas claims he is going to execute a court order that will dissolve the non-active parliament regulated through the competing Hamas movement.
Talking in a PLO conference, he stated the Hall of justice ruled to liquify the PLC and even asked for political elections within 6 months.
Abbas points out the step is simply to “press Hamas into agreeing” to Egyptian initiatives with regard to national Palestinian harmony.
