WASHINGTON – The House-Senate authorized legislation to briefly finance the government, a crucial measure towards preventing a Federal Government Shutdown shortly after US President Donald Trump backed away from his demand for funds regarding a Mexican border wall.

Senators successfully passed the measure, that will try to keep the federal government operating to Feb. 8th, through voice vote without any roll call Wednesday evening.

The House is expected to vote prior to Friday’s due date, whenever this temporary financing for the state & federal government runs out.

Without having a resolution, in excess of 800,000 federal government employees would have encountered furloughs or even be pushed to work with no pay, interrupting government functions days prior to X-mas.

Although the White House signified that Trump was open to reviewing anything the house might successfully pass, the commander in chief did not instantly weigh in on the temporary plan.

A number of Trump’s advocates were actually annoyed that he pulled back on his closure threats, after guaranteeing a battle over the wall structure that had been key to his presidential strategy.

Just recently Trump claimed he will be “proud” to close down the state and the federal government if he did not get the  $5 billion dollars for the wall.

Several allies defined the step as “caving on his promise”, articulating worry that this move might harm Trump’s 2020 prospects.
