Because of the state funeral of former President George H.W Bush, the U.S. House of Judiciary Committee will likely to put off until next week a hearing with Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Alphabet Inc unit’s social media practices – said, Chairman Bob Goodlatte. Previously, Mr. Pichai had agreed to testify before the panel over Republican concerns that the tech giant is biased against conservatives after it skipped a high profile Senate hearing. Mr. Goodlattte has confirmed in an interview with Fox News that “The hearing is expected to be rescheduled for next week most possibly.
