A new smartphone from Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has appeared online in several listings before the official launch. The new Redmi phone listed on the website of China’s regulatory body TENAA comes with the model number M2004J7AC. A recent report hinted that this upcoming Redmi phone may be the Redmi Note 10 but as of now there is no confirmation on the name, so it would be okay to just consider it a leak. Some key specifications of this Redmi phone with model number M2004J7AC listed in TENAA have also been revealed.The TENAA listing seen by Gizmochina lists the Redmi phone with model number M2004J7AC, which has 5G support. It runs on Android 10 and includes a 6.57-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display. The name of the processor is not known, but the listing states that it works on an octa-core chipset, with a CPU frequency of 2.6 GHz, which is a Dimensity 800 or Dimensity 800+ chipset, according to Gizmochina’s report. It has also been reported that the smartphone will come in three RAM options, including 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB options. Apart from this, it will have three storage options, which will include 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB options. It is expected to be launched with 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants. According to the listing, storage can be increased up to 2 TB via microSD card.
Redmi phone with M2004J7AC model number is listed with quad camera sensor. This module can also be seen in the render picture given in the listing. The primary camera on the back can be a 48 megapixel sensor and it can come with a single front camera, which is expected to have a 16 megapixel sensor. From the picture, we can also find out that the selfie camera will be set on a notch. Volume buttons and power buttons are visible on the right side of the phone. According to the listing, the battery capacity will be 4,420 mAh and the dimensions of the phone will be 164.15×75.75×8.99 millimeters and weighing 206 grams. TENAA listings also provide information on color options, including Blue, Black, Green, Pink, Red, Silver and White.
Recently a phone from model number M2004J7AC has also been seen on 3C certification website. This phone was seen listed here along with another phone with model number M2004J7BC. These phones are being considered as Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro.
