Iran sentenced three more people to death and blamed security forces for the deaths of three people during cross-country protests against hijab dissent, according to the legal executive. Iran has seen monstrous showings since the passing of Mahsa Amini in September last year. Mahsa Amini was captured by the country’s profound quality police for allegedly abusing Iran’s severe clothing standard by not wearing her hijab appropriately.
With this, the total number of individuals condemned to death regarding the fights rose to 17. Four of those indicted have been executed, and two others are waiting for capital punishment after their sentences were maintained by the country’s high court, AFP detailed.
Saleh Mirhashemi, Majid Kazemi, and Saeed Yaghoubi were condemned to death on charges of pursuing “battle against God,” the legal executive’s Mizan Online news site revealed, according to news organisation AFP.
The report added that two others have been given jail terms for the occurrence that prompted the deaths of three security force individuals in Isfahan on November 16. “Albeit, every one of the sentences can be pursued,” it said.
In November, Iran executed Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini for the murder of a paramilitary power member.Two different men, Mohsen Shekari and Majidreza Rahnavard, were additionally executed in December subsequent to being sentenced for assaults on security forces in the midst of fights.
