If you are a diehard Marvel fan, this is really going to be heartbreak for you. The age of Marvel shows on Netflix is apparently coming to an end. While Disney is all set to start up its own streaming service with announced miniseries for prominent characters as Loki and Scarlett Witch. Despite the excellent reviews of Daredevil season 3, Netflix has canceled the web series for any forthcoming seasons. Well, this an absolute bomb for fans. This move comes within weeks of additional Marvel produced shows such as Luke Cage and Iron Fist becoming canceled from the streaming stage.
The first three seasons of Daredevil will continue to be available on Netflix for streaming. The Marvel report states that “From the moment of young Matt’s very first act of heroism into the birth of Page, Murdock, & Nelson, it has been an incredible journey. We look forward to more experiences with the Man without worry later on.” The Netflix has just two remaining live-action Marvel shows from the whole Defended household now, which are “The Punisher” and Jessica Jones”.
The chances of these two show canceled after their under produced seasons are also on high probability. The recent cancellations of Marvel show in a row have come as Disney prepares its own streaming service, and has already started to pull back rights to film and television jobs licensed Netflix.
Another report from Deadline report claims that increased cost and New York’s tax credits might be the motivating factors behind the series going off the air. Well, nothing matters for fans as their beloved will away from the small screen for the time being.
