There’s massive speculation around the discharge date of Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb. While a few reviews had claimed that the movie was initially imagined to launch on an OTT platform. On September 9 to coincide with Akshay’s birthday.
Current information recommend it’s been postponed to Diwali 2020. Other reviews recommend that the makers have placed a forestall to the digital launch of the movie altogether. And could await theatres to reopen.
While the movie was imagined to hit theatres in May at the occasion of Eid. The lockdown paused that plan. Disney+ Hotstar introduced in the end of June that Laxmmi Bomb could be releasing on the platform. Though an legitimate launch date was not revealed.
While rumours had been rife that the postpone in launch date is to avoid backlash on social media. And go through the brunt of the nepotism debate raging in the country right now.
Bollywood Hungama has claimed that director Raghava Lawerence and his crew. Felt to shoot for a few patchwork scenes for continuity purposes.
“Following Akshay’s approval, they determined to shoot at a studio this month. It is only a short day shoot with a few individual actors for the post-climax scenes, that is more on the humourous side. Akshay might not be a part of the patch-work,” a source said.
The horror comedy, starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. It is directed through Raghava Lawrence. Further, produced through Cape of Good Films, Tusshar Kapoor, Shabinaa Khan and Fox Star Studios.
