Chelsea on Wednesday reported the marking of safeguard Ben Chilwell from Leicester on a five-year bargain for an undisclosed charge. The Britain left-back is Blues administrator Blunt Lampard’s third significant marking of the mid year, following the appearances of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig. “I am pleased to join Chelsea at this energizing time for the club,” 23-year-old Chilwell said on Chelsea’s site. “I’m anticipating being a piece of this youthful, unique crew drove by Forthcoming Lampard as we challenge for praises next season.”
While the two clubs have stayed silent on the whole paid for Chilwell, Leicester said on their site it is “one of the biggest exchange charges at any point got by the Foxes”.
