On August 13, telugu actress Niharika Konidela got engaged to businessman Chaitanya Jonnalagedda at a plush hotel in Hyderabad. The engagement was attended by close family and friends. Niharika is actor-host Naga Babu’s daughter and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew. Ram Charan, his wife Upasana Kamineni, Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy are some of the family members who attended the event.

Varun Tej, elder brother of Niharika, took to Instagram to congratulate her and introduced his brother-in-law Chaitanya. He wrote, “And this happened!! My baby sis gets engaged! Welcome to the family bava @chaitanya_jv !!! (sic).”
Niharika shared pictures with her beau Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, who happens to be the son of Guntur’s Inspector General of Police (IG), J Prabhakar Rao. Talking to Times of India, Niharika said: “Yes, I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. We are not engaged officially yet and my social media post was to just officially announce that I’m taken. Naturally, I’m thrilled right now.”
Earlier, Niharika had revealed in an Instagram post that she would soon be getting married. The actor has shared several photos of the two of them together. Niharika made her debut by anchoring the ETV dance reality TV show, Dhee Juniors. She has also acted as the lead in films like Oka Manasu, Suryakantham, Happy Wedding and others.
