It is an American political thriller, Designated Survivor, it has total three seasons. The first season was launched on September 21, 2016. The second season was released on September 27, 2017, on ABC. However, the third season was launched by Entertainment One and Netflix and released on June 7, 2019, on Netflix.
Designated Survivor Season 4: Release Date and Cast
Netflix in July 2019 officially declared that the show has been canceled. Hence, as of now, there is no surety of the fourth season. This was a disheartening news for the fans of the show. Till, then you can binge watch the first three seasons of the show.

After a attack at the Capitol Building on the Union State, the President and all other successors get killed. There was only one survivor left that was the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Thomas Kirkman.
After the major attack, he was appointed to the President because he was the solo survivor. However, he isn’t aware about the upcoming situations, whereas the attack was only the beginning. He not only has to govern the country but also has to discover the truth behind the attack. David Guggenheim has created this thriller series.
The three seasons came to an end when Netflix announced that there isn’t going to be a season 4 of the show. In the future, there may be a possibility of the new sequel. Hence, no official dates nor about the trailers is there. But you can enjoy the three seasons, on Netflix for some time.
