Katy Perry shares details about her pregnancy at Kyle and Jackie O Australian radio show on Sunday via video chat. She jokingly said that she is currently 190 pounds. She is expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom.
The singer and American Idol judge was showing off her baby bump during the video chat. She mockingly said, “large marge in charge.”
The Singer seemed positive about her body as she shared that, “I’m really grateful for my body,” Further to this, she added that, “Going through this process you get a whole new viewpoint.”
Katy was positive about her pregnancy and also spoke about how it was impacted by a coronavirus. “I’m a very active woman… and during this time of COVID — and quite frankly an American revolution — I have been also putting out songs and heading towards putting out a record,” she said. “I’m working really hard. The one blessing is I don’t have to travel extremely.” Perry added.
Talking about the baby Katy revealed that her baby has tremendous energy and she mockingly called her ‘Kicky Perry.’ She mentions that she is high on energy and constantly moves in her womb. Considering that both, Bloom and Perry are energetic individuals it is likely that their baby is going to be a little bundle of energy. Katy, 35, admits that she’ll be ‘surprised’ if their daughter is laid back as the ‘DNA between [her and Orlando] is very high energy’.
Katy Perry also addressed the rumours that they will ask Jennifer Aniston to become the godmother to their baby. She replied that “We have no idea where that came from,” Perry said, adding that Bloom has long been friends with Aniston, but that the reports had no merit.
