The areas within Northern Ireland, in which the renowned Emmy Award-winning fantasia dramatization series Game of Thrones was filmed, is currently being immortalized for the sake of passionate followers.
As the series comes to an ending, and enthusiasts wait on the last season with a heavy heart, today, HBO revealed a plan of action to transform the places in which the series was filmed, to tourism areas.
The highly-acclaimed TELEVISION series, that is scheduled to return for the last season on 2019 (with any luck), are going to deliver the globe of Westeros to spirited supporters, that are going to have the ability to check out standing sets for Winterfell, Castle Black, and even Kings Landing.
HBO is apparently intending on generating an immersive experience that is going to include a “reveal of the series’ production archives, a first-person viewing from behind the show’s real camera lens, and a stunning display of actual costumes, props, weapons, set decor, models, and art files used in the show”.
Bring in the news, Jeff Peters, Vice President, Licensing and Retail, HBO pointed out, “HBO is thrilled to celebrate the work of the Game of Thrones creative team and crew by preserving these locations and inviting fans to visit Northern Ireland and explore Westeros in person”.
Additionally John McGrillen, Chief Executive for Tourism in Northern Ireland claimed, “We couldn’t be more excited about the Game of Thrones Legacy project coming to Northern Ireland. While fans have seen the stunning landscapes, coastlines and mountains in the series, we are thrilled they will now have the opportunity to fully experience the charm of Northern Ireland and immerse themselves in to the world of Westeros”.
Basing on HBO, they are not just intending on having set tours with regard to admirers but are even preparing to hold an official studio scenic tour from Linen Mill Studios, wherein followers could learn more about the seasons and even settings for the collection.
