Actress Chitrangada Singh is busy writing the script of a short film amid lockdown. Chitrangada Singh said, “I am currently writing a script for a short film, I have a lot of free time so I will complete it soon”. On the silver screen, Chitrangada will now seen sharing the screen with Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Bob Biswas’. The film tells the old story of a killer Bob Biswas. Who was originally seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s 2012 Vidya Balan-starrer ‘Kahaani’.

However, in that film, Bob Biswas’s character was played brilliantly by Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee. Now Abhishek Bachchan has roped in to play this top role. Ghosh co-produces the film with Shah Rukh Khan, while Diya Annapurna Ghosh is directing the film.
Chitrangada appears as a producer for the 2018 sports biopic ‘Surma’, in which Diljit Dosanjh seen as Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh. Actress Chitrangada is reportedly planning to bring its franchise ‘Surma 2’. Its sequel, like the first film, will tell the story of the real-life hero.
