Under this series, the company is offering a new doodle every day, in which a new game is added every day. Its purpose is to keep people confined to their homes and to prevent the spread of dangerous viruses like COVID-19. Today is the fifth day of the game’s series and today the “Garden Gnomes” game can be played on Doodle.
Garden Gnomes initially appeared two years ago on 10 June 2018. This interactive game was created to honour Germany’s Garden Day. The festival puts a spotlight on garden gnomes, which are generally known as lawns to small human decking statues. With a shaggy beard and red-pointed cap, Yeboune first appeared in the 13th century but became famous in 1840 after being used for decorations at British garden parties.
Here’s how the “Garden Gnomes” game works. Use your trusty slingshot to launch your earthen dome into the farthest reaches of your garden. Now, a trebuchet is a type of slingshot that uses the extended arm to throw a projectile. The farther your gnome travels, the more flowers you receive – the more points you get! Once you learn the basics, you can choose from six coloured gnomes with different sizes, weights and bounces. You can make your boring day enjoyable by playing “Garden Gnome” at home.
