A Saudi spy chopper bitten the dust inside Yemen’s far eastern district of al-Mahrah, sacrificing its own pilot and also co-pilot.
As mentioning by Arabic-language al-Omanaa media reports website and blog, the chopper plunged in to a Tanhala Mountain range Friday.
Colonel Turki al-Malki, a spokesperson to the Saudi-led alliance in opposition to Yemen, professed that the accident was simply triggered by a technological breakdown, nothing more.
The spy chopper belongs to Saudi troops, presumably came downward “while it was probably performing the endeavours of combating terrorism & contraband in the city of al-Mahra within Yemen itself,” the Saudi Press Office quoted Malki .
Yemeni claimed that Saudi armies are spread out within the oil-rich locations of Mahrah, Yemen’s past head of state Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi went to the district just recently, and was received by the Saudi Arabia’s emissary to Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber.
