Israeli government representative Duty is proceeding to focus on Irish State leader Varadkar and the Irish government over its position on the conflict in Gaza.
In the wake of censuring Varadkar for saying nine-year-old Israeli-Irish hostage Emily Hand was “lost” and “has now been found”, Duty has ridiculed Ireland’s commitment to the arrival of the prisoners as just “petitions”.
“This is the manner by which you depict a young lady who disappeared during a walk around a backwoods, then gets found by a cordial explorer,” Duty said in a post on X.
“Not a young lady mercilessly snatched by death crews that severely slaughtered her neighbors. However, this makes sense of the degree of Ireland’s commitment: petitions.”
Demand likewise posted a picture of a case marked “lost and found”, snidely proposing that Ireland thought Emily Hand was concealing there.
Ireland and Israel have had an irritable relationship starting from the beginning of the conflict, with authorities exchanging insults over Israel’s barrage of Gaza and the quantity of non military personnel passings in the territory.
