Actress Bhumi Pednekar has decided to learn the science of hydroponics farming from her mother Sumitra Pednekar amid lockdown due to coronavirus.
The actress said, “My mother and I have always wanted to have our own hydroponics garden where we can grow vegetables and adopt a completely stable lifestyle. We wanted the house to have a garden for a sustainable lifestyle and we Both are happy with this progress. “

The science of soilless horticulture is called hydroponics. It involves cultivation using a mineral-rich water enrichment technique without the use of soil in the traditional way.
Bhumi is also the brain behind the online and offline initiative ‘Climate Warrior’, through which it is raising awareness on how citizens of India can contribute to protect the climate. Bhumi says that he has tried to stay close to nature during the lockdown.
