By combining their respective product portfolios and meeting the needs of both domestic and international customers, the agreement aims to establish a global platform that takes advantage of the defense and aerospace capabilities of both businesses.

This includes assessing cooperation across EDGE’s and Adani’s core product domains, such as missiles and weapons, which encompass airborne, surface, infantry, ammunition, and air defense products; platforms and systems, which encompass unmanned aerial systems (UAS), loitering munitions, counter drone systems, and unmanned ground vehicles (UGV); electronic warfare (EW); and cyber technologies.

The aforementioned agreement will investigate the possibility of establishing facilities for research and development (R&D) in India and the United Arab Emirates as well as facilities for the development, production, and maintenance of defense and aerospace solutions in order to serve not only the two captive markets but also the markets in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

Ashish Rajvanshi, President, Adani Guard and Aviation, said, Our joint effort denotes the start of another time in improving protection capacities, underscoring our obligation to progress mechanical ability and advancing two-sided safeguard collaboration among India and the UAE. It reflects our shared goal of strengthening our nations’ capabilities by not only providing the two nations with cutting-edge solutions but also establishing new standards for global defense.

“Our agreement with Adani Defence & Aerospace, represents a significant milestone, strengthening our ties within India’s defence industry, and underscoring our mutual commitment to advancing UAE-India military ties,” stated Hamad Al Marar, managing director and chief executive officer of Edge Group.

This agreement demonstrates our commitment to bringing the most cutting-edge products to market for our customers and to taking advantage of the global export potential, which includes crucial UAE-grown technology. We are eager to establish the Adani Defence and Edge joint platform in order to pioneer novel technologies and establish new standards in the advanced military equipment and defense industry.
