Adani Defence & Aerospace, Adani Enterprises’ defense subsidiary, and EDGE Group have reached a milestone cooperation agreement to combine their missile, weapon, unmanned platform, and cyber system expertise.
UAE-based EDGE Group, one of the world’s leading defense and advanced technology companies. It has established the goal of developing defense solutions that are adaptable, daring, and novel. By combining their respective product portfolios and meeting the needs of both domestic and international customers, the agreement aims to establish a global platform that takes advantage of the defense and aerospace capabilities of both businesses.
This includes assessing cooperation across EDGE’s and Adani’s core product domains, such as missiles and weapons, which encompass airborne, surface, infantry, ammunition, and air defense products; platforms and systems, which encompass unmanned aerial systems (UAS), loitering munitions, counter drone systems, and unmanned ground vehicles (UGV); electronic warfare (EW); and cyber technologies.
The aforementioned agreement will investigate the possibility of establishing facilities for research and development (R&D) in India and the United Arab Emirates as well as facilities for the development, production, and maintenance of defense and aerospace solutions in order to serve not only the two captive markets but also the markets in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.
