Yunus Robertson aka Mr.Bonnet (Bonneto) was born on 08 October 1998 in Southside Jamaica Queens, New York. He’s one of the very young singers of the world as he’s just 22 right now and he’s doing amazing in the globe of music.
Yunus Robertson started his journey in the world of music niche in 2017 and from the beginning of his journey Yunus faced many ups and downs but even after facing the worst things he still continued to move forward with a positive mindset and he never gave up on his career and hard work because he believes that ups and downs are a part of a journey and every road has speed breakers as well as traffic. Yunus’s hard work and enthusiasm helped him writing and singing many songs but some of those songs were never released and the songs which were released didn’t get the support and fame which they deserve but Yunus was still okay with all this and he thought that he should to do something unique to attract the audience and the first thing was his identity i.e name.
Yunus believes that being a Leo standing out was just something natural to him and wearing a bonnet was just apart of his everyday life because having his hair covered was a big thing for him. So once he started wearing it outside and people was instantly drawn to it, he thought that if wearing a bonnet can attract people towards him so why not to use this as his identity?
Yunus started wearing bonnets in his songs and videos and gave himself the name “Mr.Bonnet (Bonneto)”, all this brought changes in his career, wearing a bonnet and calling himself Mr.Bonnet separated him from the crowd. People started loving the way Bonneto presented himself in his songs.
Now with this new identity and hard work, Mr.Bonnet released his first music album on 14th February 2020 with the name “Love Bonneto” which is quite similar to his name and has 10 songs, you can also see him collaborating with tc and fmb dre in the songs of this album.
