PixaHive Plans To Expand Its Photography Platform Across Asia

Indian public domain photography platform PixaHive is looking beyond the borders of its geographical location to expand across Asia. The company has planned its expansion when it’s on the verge of completing its first month since launch.

PixaHive revolutionized the process of searching and uploading images online. Unlike the popular stock photography platforms on the internet, it demands no registration fees from the contributors. Everyone who visits the website can access its content for free. Writers, bloggers and business owners across India are downloading thousands of images from the platform, and the photographers are building their community by getting in touch with others in the industry.

Overwhelmed by the success on home ground, PixaHive has now decided to expand these features to other Asian countries. In October 2020, the Indian photography platform will kick-start its advertising campaigns in Southeast Asia. As the world starts adapting to the new normal during the ongoing pandemic, PixaHive.com will make it easier for Asians to access images without straining their budget. The first phase of the expansion will focus on Indonesian and Filipino markets.

The currently trending photography websites in the Asian countries require tiresome registration process followed by a fixed payment that needs to be done to access the content. Some high-quality images are charged as high as US$136 or INR10,000. The startups or small-scale industries that are looking for cheaper alternatives to generate higher Return on Investment (ROI) can never afford to pay these numbers.

While asked about the prospect of his company in the Asian markets, Rohit Tripathi the Founder of PixaHive.com spoke about the lack of free resources for the people who need it the most. He said, “Digitalization has almost become a necessity in today’s world. To ensure survival in the new world, every startup, industry, or individual will have to expand their reach on the internet by using multimedia. This is where the role of high-quality images comes in.”

While speaking about the utility of high-quality images, Rohit added that they are used “to create website banners, featured images for articles, social media posts, and videos for advertisement.” With confidence, he stressed on the fact that “to hold the attention of your target audience, a high-quality image is a must-have.”

Apart from the professional uses, the images from these platforms are used in interactive learning for explaining the concepts and in arts for creating greeting cards or sample images for photo frames. Rohit says, “Despite being so important in everyday lives, these images were restricted behind the bars of huge fees. By publicly making the creativity of talented photographers available, PixaHive is providing a platform for the artists to showcase their work and for individuals and companies that are searching for HD images for their work.”

PixaHive recently announced its photography contest month, which begins on September 5, 2020. The platform expects thousands of submissions from different parts of India. These submissions will further add to the increasing number of images on the platform.
