On Monday, the producers launched the third track of Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 called “Dil Ki Purani Sadak”. It is basically composed by one of the popular musical duo of Samidh Mukherjee and Urvi. However, the lyrics of the song “Dil Ki Purani Sadak” is penned by song writer Vijay Vijawatt.
Though, the musical video in itself doesn’t have anything interesting, except a very stunning look of Sanjay Dutt. I think the words complement the clip well. In the music video, Dutt is shown mourning and remembering his dead partner (played by Pooja Bhatt). As, the lyrics remind the listeners that the character is reliving a some of the cherished moments from the past.
It can be said that the song is decent, and the composition includes a 90s haunting vibe to it which works. The makers before released the other music tracks, “Ishq Kamaal” and “Tum Se Hi”.
Sadak 2 is basically a sequel to the 1991. Mahesh Bhatt is the director of Sadak. In movie Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt is playing the lead roles. While Dutt is portraying his part in the 2020 version. Alia and Aditya are play the romantic leads in the new upcoming movie. Sadak 2 will release on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP on August 28.
