South Korean smartphone maker LG has announced its futuristic (future) flagship smartphone LG Velvet. The company has now announced the launch of its future smartphone as the new Velvet series instead of the Alpha Numeric series. The company can launch its new series on May 15. Earlier, some information about this series was revealed. LG has announced about its new smartphone series by releasing a press release.

LG Velvet can be different from all the company’s smartphones launched so far. Rain drop camera set-up can be seen in its back. The company has also teased the 3D design of this smartphone series, in which the new camera set-up and front design can be seen. Curved glass panels can be seen in the front and back panels of the phone. Smartphones in this series can be launched with next generation communication technology 5G network support. In this, mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor can be used.
Being a mid-range processor, this smartphone can be launched with a mid-budget. Triple rear camera and LED flash light can be given in the back panel of the phone. The camera of the phone can be vertically aligned. No information has been shared about the other features of this smartphone at the moment. Earlier this smartphone was leaked in the name of LG G9.

The company has not given any information about why LG has named its next smartphone series Velvet. However, the company’s Senior Vice President (Product) Chang Ma said that this is our vision of a simple future, which we believe it will be liked by today’s consumers. Also, it will help us to establish a clear brand identity.
