Greater Noida, April 4, 2025 – The Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025 concluded in grand style at Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort, with Saptak Talwar clinching the trophy after four days of electrifying action. Arjun Prasad delivered a stellar performance to finish a close second, making it one of the most thrilling finales in recent Indian golf history.

This prestigious championship, hosted by the Adani Group in collaboration with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), not only marked a return to the iconic venue after over a decade but also stood as a symbol of the rising stature of professional golf in the country—with a prize purse of ₹1.5 crore attracting the best of India’s golfing talent.

Pranav Adani: Powering India’s Golfing Revolution

The event was highlighted by the presence of Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises, who has become a driving force behind the evolution of Indian golf. His vision, passion, and continued investment in the sport were evident throughout the tournament.

“Our mission is to nurture world-class Indian golfers by providing them with a world-class platform,” said Pranav Adani during the award ceremony.
“The talent on display, especially from Saptak and Arjun, is a proud reflection of what’s possible when opportunity meets ambition. With our continued partnership with PGTI and Kapil Dev Ji, we are laying the foundation for India’s golfing future.”

Legendary cricketer and PGTI President Kapil Dev, who also attended the prize ceremony, added,

“This event showcased what Indian golf is capable of. The future is bright and we are just getting started.”

Rahul Mehta & PGTI: Shaping the Future of Indian Golf

Adding to the momentum was Rahul Mehta, Tour Partner at PGTI, who emphasized how the tour is revolutionizing the golfing ecosystem in India.

“This is a transformational moment for Indian golf,” said Mehta.
“The Adani-PGTI partnership is creating unprecedented accessibility to top-tier golf courses and facilities. We are committed to turning India into a global golfing hub—not just for professionals, but for passionate golfers across every level of society.”

PGTI’s structure, consistency, and growing calendar of high-stakes tournaments have positioned it as the backbone of India’s professional golf landscape.

Championing Grassroots Growth

Furthering this commitment, the Adani Group hosted a golf clinic on March 29 at Belvedere Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad, where 50 students from The Adani International School received professional training. The Adani-PGTI Golf Training Academy is also playing a crucial role in developing future Olympians and taking Indian talent to the world stage.

What’s Next for Indian Golf

Following the roaring success of the Adani Invitational, the PGTI tour is gearing up for an exciting April with a packed schedule:
• Indorama Open Golf Championship – Kalhaar Blues & Greens, Ahmedabad (April 9–12)
• Calance Open – Delhi NCR (April 15–18)
• Kapil Dev Grant Thornton Invitational – Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru (April 22–25)

These events are set to continue the momentum, strengthening India’s growing global presence in the golfing arena.
