Right after Democratic legislative heads turned Trump down in a conference at the White House, the commander in chief threatened to try the questionable action of making use of emergency powers to construct the wall structure without having authorization from elected representatives.

” Yes, I have. And I can do it if I want,” Trump stated. “We can call a national emergency because of the security of our country … I may do it.
