Within the United State of America, US President Donald Trump along with top Democrats failed to come to an agreement to end the partial shutdown of the Government.
Basing on multimedia reports, both sides fell short to solve their disagreement over Trump’s demand for $5.6 billion dollars so as to create a wall on the Mexican boundary.
Right after Democratic legislative heads turned Trump down in a conference at the White House, the commander in chief threatened to try the questionable action of making use of emergency powers to construct the wall structure without having authorization from elected representatives.
Middle East Headlines News asked Trump whether or not he has considered proclaiming a national emergency just to build that wall.
” Yes, I have. And I can do it if I want,” Trump stated. “We can call a national emergency because of the security of our country … I may do it. But we can call a national emergency and build it very quickly. And it’s another way of doing it. But if we can do it through a negotiated process, we’re giving that a shot.”
Emergency situation powers have already been used by former United State of America leaders at the time of war, not a wall.
