The State of California law-makers successfully passed a bill recently, mandating that dining establishments making the default beverages for children’ menus either drinking water or milk.
Basing on the content from S.B. 1192: “This bill will demand an eating establishment, as defined, which sells a children’s dish that includes a drink, to make the default drink water, sparkling water, or perhaps flavored water, as indicated, or even unflavoured milk or maybe a nondairy milk alternative, as specified.
The bill will not restrict an eating place’s capability to offer, alternatively a client’s ability to buy, an alternate drink in the event that the buyer asks for one.”
