In a shocking incident, residents of an apartment complex in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), spotted a child dangling from a 13th floor window and rushed to rescue him.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon and was captured on camera by one of the residents. In the video, the child can be seen clutching the metal grille of the window as he dangles precariously.
Several people can be seen gathered below the child, urging him to hold on and not to let go. After a few tense moments, the child is finally pulled to safety by one of the residents who managed to reach him.
It is not clear how the child ended up in the dangerous situation. However, Sharjah Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Residents of an apartment building in Abu Dhabi rushed to rescue a child who was dangling from a 13th floor window on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at around 10.30am at the Al Bateen Residences, behind Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.
Witnesses said they saw the child, believed to be around two years old, hanging from the window and alerted the building’s security staff.
Security guards and residents quickly rushed to the child’s aid and managed to bring him back into the apartment. It is not yet known how the child ended up in the precarious situation.
The Abu Dhabi Police have been informed of the incident and are investigating.
