The Argo director’s brooding Dark Knight is again coming back with one more movie. Ben Affleck has agreed to return as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming version of The Flash, Vanity Fair has learned.
Filmmaker Matt Reeves is now creating The Batman with Pattinson as the lead. The production of the film was stopped because of the pandemic. The flash movie is scheduled to release in summer 2022.
This movie will be featuring fast-moving hyper-hero Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller. Barry will break the bonds of physics to go into various parallel dimensions. There he will encounter different versions of DC’s classic heroes. It is basically an adaptation of DC’s 2011 Flashpoint series of comic book crossovers.
This comic book was directed by Andy Muschietti. Muschietti in an interview said. “He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance.” Affleck received the script at the end of last week and he agreed this week to join the project.
Muschietti said- “This movie is a bit of a hinge in the sense that it presents a story that implies a unified universe where all the cinematic iterations that we’ve seen before are valid. It’s inclusive in the sense that it is saying all that you’ve seen exists, and everything that you will see exists, in the same unified multiverse.”
Affleck alone is not making the come back. There are many other from the alternate-dimension heroes who will come back in the Flash movie. These figures will be familiar, as we’ve seen them before. Michael Keaton’s Batman from the 1989 Tim Burton film will also appear in what Muschietti said was a “substantial” part.
