Home Minister Amit Shah, who tried negative for COVID-19 a week ago, has been admitted to AIIMS in Delhi, the administration emergency clinic said in an announcement. The Home Minister has been “griping of weariness and body hurt for last three-four days”, the emergency clinic said.
“Amit Shah has been grumbling of weakness and body hurts for last three-four days. He has tried negative for COVID-19. He has been admitted to AIIMS for Covid care. He is agreeable and is proceeding with his work from clinic,” AIIMS media and convention division administrator Dr Aarti Vij said in the announcement.
Mr Shah, 55, was released from the private clinic Medanta in Gurgaon a week ago subsequent to testing negative for COVID-19. He had tweeted on August 14 he would be in home confinement for a couple of more days on the counsel of his primary care physicians. After a day he was seen partaking in Autonomy Day festivities and lifting the national banner at his official home.
