Renault Triber AMT was introduced at the Auto Expo held in February. It has been waiting since then. The wait for customers wanting to buy Triber AMT is coming to an end, as the company is preparing to launch it on 18 May. It has been revealed from the leaked document. Triber AMT has been seen many times during testing.
The Tribar Compact MPV is Renault’s popular car in the country but is still lacking an automatic transmission. In such a situation, the company will soon overcome this shortage by launching Triber AMT.
Renault Tribar will get a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. This small 7-seater car has a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which generates 72 PS of power and 96 Nm peak torque. Currently, an only 5-speed manual gearbox is available with this engine.
Mileage
The mileage of the Renault Tribar AMT will be more than the manual version. The company claims that the mileage of the Tribor that comes with the AMT gearbox is 20.5 km/L, while in the manual version the mileage of this car is 20 km/L.
How much will it cost
The price of the Tribar AMT is expected to be 30-40 thousand rupees more than the manual version. Currently, the price of Renault Tribar is between Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 6.82 lakh.
More powerful tribes are coming
A more powerful version of Renault Tribar is also coming. It will get a 1.0-litre, cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 99 bhp power and 160 Nm torque.
