Health officials in Ahmedabad said that the infection in Gujarat reached 1021 on Friday, while 92 new cases were reported. At the same time, the number of people who died with two more deaths reached 38.
The number of cases has crossed 1000 in Maharashtra (3236), Delhi (1640), Tamil Nadu (1323), Rajasthan (1193) and Madhya Pradesh (1164).
In Mumbai alone, coronavirus cases have reached 2120 while 77 more people were found positive. According to BMC, 101 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Dharavi slums of Mumbai.
