Iran Shooting Down American Drones

Iranian air defense is Shooting Down American Drones in the southwest part of the country, the ISNA agency reported.

The drone was shot down on November 8th in the early morning within the area of the port of Mahshahr, located in the province of Juzestán, the media said.

The agency did not give more details at this time.

The governor of Juzestán, Gholamreza Shariati, informed the IRNA agency that it is a foreign drone.

” The aforementioned remote control aircraft definitely belongs to other countries,” said the governor, who said experts are studying the remains of the drone and will announce the results of the inspection.

Trump says he wanted to “attack Iran” but canceled the attack 10 minutes earlier.

He explained that “it was determined that this drone entered Mahshahr’s space without knowing it did, which is why the district’s air defense forces knocked it down.”

On June 20th, Iranian forces also shot down an American spy drone that had ventured into the country’s airspace, near the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States Central Command (Centcom) admitted the demolition of the RQ-4A Global Hawk unmanned vehicle but said the event occurred in international waters.

The Government of Iran presented a protest to the UN for having violated its airspace.
